As CUO, Stephen is responsible for the underwriting strategy and portfolio management critical to Euclid Mortgage’s risk selection and profitability.  He has 15 years of reinsurance underwriting and capital markets experience in Property and Credit lines, specializing in mortgage credit solutions. As head of RenaissanceRe’s Mortgage Credit practice, a leader in U.S. PMI and GSE Credit Risk Transfer, he managed the assumed reinsurance portfolio and bespoke ceded strategies, leveraging third-party capital. Prior to RenaissanceRe, he served as a Financial Analyst at PSQR Capital Management, analyzing emerging risks post-Global Financial Crisis. Stephen is a CFA Charterholder and is a board member, and current Fundraising Chair, for the Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies.
